Description

This isn't a formal listed trail found on any map of the Leadville Area. Instead this trail ride was a combination of various forest service trails and old mining roads which visited some of the highlights of the rich mining history of the Leadville area. Many of the structures date back to the mid 19th century and represent various techniques and equipment in use at the time. The trails are easy if dry, with many stretches being on graded forest service roads, however with heavy rains or early season snow remains, the trail could be much more difficult.
