Welcome to Pangaea
Expeditions
At Pangaea, we specialize in expeditions
and adventure travel. Based just outside of Boulder,
Colorado, USA, we're located at the foot of the magestic
Rocky Mountains.
Our name, Pangaea, comes from the ancient
Greek words "pan" and "gaea,"
literally meaning "all earth". Scientists
theorize that billions of years ago, before the tectonic
plates shifted into their current continental form,
there existed a super-continent consisting of all
the known land masses. This super-continent is named
"Pangaea."
Pangaea Expeditions
was started in 2001 by Nathan Hindman and Tracy Donaldson.
At the height of the rock crawling craze, we realized
that there were no North American 4x4 companies that
focused on vehicle dependant expedition preparation
and logistics.
